Barring the warmongers, the tyrants, and the deranged, the dead, too, long for peace in these Lost Lands. Or at the least peace as they have defined it. Yet for us who are subjects of True Peace, if we were to boldly face what lies in our secret hearts, why does war resonate with our souls? Is it truly the remnants of death in us that bring our blood to a boil at the sound of battle? As ambassadors, do we represent our liege faithfully when we claim pacifism as the official position of the Kingdom and our King? My fellow mourners, how can we sing our songs with clarity if our own hearts are clouded by the mists of the Unseen Veil?
Turn to the songs of the bards, the myths of old, and hear the war songs and battle cries of the men and women of courage calling out to you from the fields of valor. The smoke and ashes of war singe and sting our consciences, but is it only the beauty of bravery that stirs our souls? What of the violence, suffering, bloodshed, and death that war leaves in its wake as it ravages all the lands it has touched? If we are right to abhor war and to long for its destruction along with death, how should we listen to the bards who sing proudly of the glories of war and of those who drink its cup and partake of its feasts? Where the myths have erred and the bards have been deceived, look to the Songs of the Word to hear the true words of the Song of Songs.
The histories of the Old Ones, kept and sung by the Great Bards, are filled with the songs of war. Although the Elder Scribes fell to the atrocities of war after the fall of the 12 houses, they were cursed because they had cursed the God and King of their forefathers. It was I AM who had led the Elder Scribes in their wars and vanquished their enemies ahead of them. It was I AM who marched at the vanguard as He led the Armies of the World Above to declare to these Lost Lands that He was and is and always will be the True Sovereign. The 12 houses turned to the fallen suns who claimed themselves to be gods of war when they were the chosen warriors of the the Undefeatable Horn of Victory and the Master of War and Peace! So I AM gave them over to be enslaved, ravished, and devastated by their beloved princes.
To those whose eyes have been opened, the discolored shadows in these Lost Lands point to the deeper realities beyond the Unseen Veil. From the moment unknown (kept hidden from us by the grace of I AM) when the First Rebel despised the glory of I AM, the Kingdom has always been at War with the Shining One and his rebellion of fallen suns. When the First Prince and his Queen also fell away from the Way of Glory, the Deceiver ascended to the throne of this world and claimed Babel for himself. All of creation has been embroiled and imprisoned by the flames of The War ever since. The illusions of peace underneath the Wailing Waters, like all of the machinations of the Lord and Father of Lies, are insidious not simply because they so cleverly imitate the genuine, but they go beyond mere masquerading by transforming into the “truths” the dead long to hear. And we who remain on these battlegrounds are not immune to the poisonous vapors in the mists. Unless our infant eyes grow stronger and we become enraptured by the vision of True Peace, we shall impose the idolatrous icons manufactured by the Veil over the image of our King. Have you forgotten, my fellow sojourners? We were drafted into the Kingdom’s armies! We fight in The War so that all wars and War itself may end, crushed by the heel of the Master of War and Peace! Peace entered these Lost Lands and pierced through the Unseen Veil to declare the final campaign against the First Rebel and all under his dominion. But until He returns again with all the Hosts of the Kingdom, there is no peace in these Lost Lands! There can be no peace where Peace is not worshipped as the True Sovereign. There can be no peace until Peace returns as the Faithful Avenger, Righteous and Just in His Wrath. There can be no peace until the First Rebel—with his princes and his slaves, along with the Great Sea, War, and Death—has been utterly defeated and cast out for eternity from I AM’s presence and all rebellion shall be blotted out from all the worlds.
Many in our camps have been lulled to sleep by the sinister lullabies of these Lost Lands. We are not home. We are not civilian ambassadors but military emissaries. We are not sent on a diplomatic mission but we are here to deliver the terms of amnesty to all captive rebels while giving no quarter to all usurpers who refuse to surrender. We must awaken to the drums of War and the heralds’ trumpet blasts. Once more let us return to the ways of the generations who knew the arts of war. War itself is an enemy, but turn your eyes upon our King: For as I AM is Lord over Death although He is not a god of the dead but the God of the Living, I AM is the Master of War although He is not a god of war but the God of Peace. He trains us in the arts of battle and the counter-stratagems of warfare through the Songs of the Word and the wisdom He has supplied to the warriors who have fought before us. But our Commander also cultivates the spirit of valor and stoutness of heart of His warriors through the echoes of His Song of songs in the myths that will awaken us from the Curse’s enchantments. Hear the battle cry of Undefeatable Horn of Victory that can never be silenced, and let the true words of these forgotten verses be freed from the noise that they may ring loud and true once more. This in itself is making war. For the Deceiver is but a Prince of Thieves; the spoils he has spoiled rightfully belong to the King and His heirs, and the Armies of the Kingdom are seizing back all of creation to offer them back to their rightful ruler.
To arms, my fellow mourners! Sharpen your songs! Answer the Wailing Waters with the cries of Victory! Never falter until War meets its end at the hands of the Master!
63 Who is this who comes from Edom, in crimsoned garments from Bozrah, he who is splendid in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.”Isaiah 63:1-14
2 Why is your apparel red, and your garments like his who treads in the winepress?
3 “I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with me; I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath; their lifeblood spattered on my garments, and stained all my apparel. 4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and my year of redemption had come. 5 I looked, but there was no one to help; I was appalled, but there was no one to uphold; so my own arm brought me salvation, and my wrath upheld me. 6 I trampled down the peoples in my anger; I made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.”
7 I will recount the steadfast love of the Lord, the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has granted us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel that he has granted them according to his compassion, according to the abundance of his steadfast love. 8 For he said, “Surely they are my people, children who will not deal falsely.” And he became their Savior. 9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
10 But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit; therefore he turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them. 11 Then he remembered the days of old, of Moses and his people. Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put in the midst of them his Holy Spirit, 12 who caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, who divided the waters before them to make for himself an everlasting name, 13 who led them through the depths? Like a horse in the desert, they did not stumble. 14 Like livestock that go down into the valley, the Spirit of the Lord gave them rest. So you led your people, to make for yourself a glorious name.
