Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes Twilight was upon the gods once more. I AM had re-established the rule of the princes of earth and appointed them to rule to the utmost corners of the seven oceans. The earth was given to them as their dominion, but in the spirit of the First Rebel they sought instead to enter I AM’s Court. One in their wickedness and hubris, they built a mountain of bricks in the manner of the Holy Mount and a city in the manner of the Garden-Court, declaring to the children of man that divinity was grasped by their own hands.

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes She never truly knew her husband. The one who had chosen her for himself, the husband of her youth, when she was mired in unfaithfulness, was a prince. In her blindness she could not see the vastness of his splendor nor could she hear the shouts of his fame. He was a king like no other, yet she sought after other lovers and bore the children of men who were not her husband.

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes The god of this new world remained unchanged, and the keening of the Wailing Waters did not cease. Soon the Shining One would have new pantheons of gods to serve under him and the powers and principalities under his command. Although I AM’s Tapestry of Colors declared His Mercy, the gods did not take heed. And we are all the sons and daughters of this lineage of cursed kings and queens. Yet all this was written long ago in the Song of songs.

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes Her king has set out to conquer—to conquer not only her but all the lands that are rightly his and everything within them. He is not only teaching her how to walk in his light, but he is training her how to run in his strength. He is not only tracing her hands to know his touch, but he is guiding her fingers to wield his power. He is not only touching her lips to remind her of his love, but he is filling her mouth to purify her with his word.

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes Her first steps out of darkness will be filled with wonder. Her first steps out of the grave will be filled with awe. For who can be more dazzling than Life? Who can be more enchanting than Love? With Truth’s eyes guiding her sight, she wonders how she could have fallen for the lies and the impostors who stole her away from her prince. But Truth’s heart beats in her chest, and the vigorous rhythm of Life’s song gently reminds her that she can only see and know now because her prince has traded away his eyes for her blindness and his heart for her death.

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes The rain of the flood waters is over and gone. The long winter of sleep is past. Her aimless wandering is over, for though she still wanders, she is no longer lost. Her hopeless mourning is over, for though she still mourns, she is no longer in despair. From the wilderness, her husband will carry her to the vineyard he has prepared, a vineyard only for two. In the wilderness, she found her voice as her husband taught her how to sing his song.

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes Out of the Darkness, I AM preserved the Light of Hope in the Seed of Truth through His Faithful Remnant. Out of the Formless, I AM wiped away wickedness and brought order once more as the True Sovereign who Rules over All. Out of the Void, I AM’s Glory resounded throughout creation in the echoes of His Righteous Judgment and in the declarations of His Mercy.

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes She will call her prince by his name, but his name will no longer be empty syllables echoing from her lips, for her new heart now knows the king whose name flows from her song. Like a babe she will learn how to speak, and little by little, day by day, she will learn how to speak truth. He will teach her the words of truth and love in the depths of her new heart. He will wait patiently—as he has always—for the day when she shall call him “Beloved” with pure lips from a heart devoid of any lies.

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes This light was no light but the darkness of death, and all of creation was bathed in the death reflected from the hearts of its fallen rulers. The Name of I AM had been silenced from the lips of men, but the Wailing Waters were not alone in their keening. Who could fathom the grief of I AM’s heart? Even as His Righteous Spirit moved to avenge the Sovereign’s Glory, His Wrath was never separated from His Sorrow and His Compassion.
